Case 169 Master Malavath Jeshwanth

Diagnosis: B-Thalassemia major(Blood Cancer)
Treatment : Bonemarrow Transplatation.
Master Yashwant Malawat of Dubbaka village, Dharpalli mandal has been diagnosed with blood cancer. If Babu wants to grow and live, blood transfusion will have to be done every 2-3 weeks. Doctors have informed that this condition will be cured by bone marrow transplantation and the right donor has been prepared. The difficult process is said to be very costly. Our #ArvindDharmapuriFoundation coordinated with several cancer organizations, when bone marrow transplantation was done, Yashwant recovered. Met Babu and his parents when he was about to be discharged yesterday. Doctors said that Babu needs regular medical supervision. Master Yashwanth Malawat of Dubbaka village, DharPalli mandal was diagnosed with B-Thalassemia . He initially needed blood transfusion every 2-3 weeks for his survival and growth. Doctors suggested Bone marrow transplantation, a procedure proven effective in such cases. As it was prolonged complex process incurring huge expenses, ADF coordinated with other Cancer organisations and successfully got the procedure done. Yesterday, visited Jeshwanth as he was being discharged & learnt that he needs medical supervision on regular basis.
